Art is not just what I do. It is who I am.
My name is Suzette M. Zeke Makani. I am a SELF-TAUGHT artist and have always been in awe of this vast planet and the smorgasbord of people who inhabit it with me.
Art is the ground we walk, the air we breathe, and the magical, spiritual universe above. I know CREATIVE art is light and free, dark and grounded, emotional and whimsical, seen and unseen - like an innocent CHILD, forever evolving.
I embrace art PASSIONATELY and eagerly strive to capture my world in oil medium and photography. The HERE and NOW inspires me. This VERY moment is what life is made of.
In my teaching, I motivate students to tap into their own personal spirit and talents. Painting and photography allow me to impart exhilaration by connecting with my clients' emotion and vision. Both produce enormously rewarding end results.
